Matt Davy (5th Year Unitec) is currently working on a proposal for this site. Creating a link from Western Auckland to the city. The program invites users to experience ‘spaghetti junction’ from the best vantage point. The project creates a modern MOTAT with a tram link between the two sites. There is also an attempt to make a physical connection across the motorways joining Freemans Bay to Beresford/K Rd again. For more information, feel free to contact me. I have to say, it’s a pretty sexy model.
What I’d love to see is one image of what the space inside feels like!
